Cure Scrubs™ began in the Fall of 2007 with the idea to bring
more awareness to the public for ovarian cancer. We are a home based
business just starting out and ready to sprout!
I am a Medical Assistant and Web Designer. I received my medical
assisting diploma from Concorde Career Institute and my Humanities
degree Digital
Technology & Culture from Washington State University.
As a medical assistant at Northwest Cancer Specialists, I am reminded
daily of the imminent need to find a cure for all cancers and wanted
to do more to help raise awareness to aid in education, prevention,
treatments, and research.
While brainstorming ideas to promote awareness, I envisioned the
idea of building a website for awareness pages on all cancers, selling
scrubs and other products with a portion of proceeds to donate for
the cause. So, with my web design skills, family business experience,
passion for raising funds for cancer awareness, finding a cure,
and my personal love of nice, soft, and thick medical scrubs, I
started up Cure Scrubs™.
By dedicating 10% of annual profits, our goal is to donate $2,000
to the American Cancer Society by December 2008.
My Daddy passed away on July 11, 2008 from colon cancer. To view

and click on his video. The first 10 minutes is just music, so you
can either grab a cup of coffee or fast forward it.
My Mother also shares the vision to help those who are dealing
with health challenges by selling various kinds of health enhancing
therapies such as massage and infrared products. She has been importing
and selling since 1998, so when I needed funding to launch Cure

We currently have four different cancer awareness colors in three
different styles. We will soon have many more styles and awareness
